Abstract

Sensitivity studies, including Observing Systems Simulation Experiments, are important tools for a successful design of the prototype CO2MVS capacity and especially for the foreseen (pre-)operational service in the Copernicus programme. The CoCO2 project includes many sensitivity studies distributed over most WPs to assess the impact of various choices (observation networks, modelling, data assimilation) on the produced results. To keep a clear focus on the outcome of the various results, this document summarises the performed studies and outcomes. This first version presents the activities for 2021, while future versions will add the activities for 2022 and 2023, respectively.
