Frontiers in Remote Sensing special issue on CO2M


A New Frontiers in Remote Sensing special issue for research contributions that will support the future CO2M Copernicus Satellite Mission is open for contributions until 31 May 2021.

The CO2 monitoring capacity is being jointly developed by European Space Agency (ESA), Eumetsat and the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF)  as part of the Copernicus Programme of the European Commission (EC).

The editors welcome publications related to studies for the implementation of space component of the of the monitoring system, data exploitation, papers demonstrating capabilities to monitor CO2 and CH4 emissions and validation and calibration studies.

Abstracts should be submitted by 31st of May 2021,  with manuscripts due by 15th of September 2021
